Personal data we collect
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when requesting information or contacting us, including:
- Your name and contact details, including email address and telephone number.
- Your company, position, and information about the organization you represent.
- Information included in your messages and requests.
- Information needed to prepare a proposal or provide a service.
The website may also generate technical data, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and interaction metrics, through server logs and analytics tools. We do not request sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include it in contact messages.
Messaging through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger
When you communicate with Making Devs through WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger, we may receive your name, username, telephone number, profile picture, and other information you have made visible on that platform, as well as conversation content and metadata, files, images, voice notes, and other information you choose to share.
We use this information to:
- Identify you and respond to your message.
- Follow up on requests, proposals, appointments, and services.
- Maintain a customer-service history and protect the security of our communications.
- Send promotional information only when you have requested or authorized it.
By starting a conversation, you choose to use a third-party service. WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger are Meta products and process information under their own terms, settings, and privacy policies. Meta may process and store information outside Mexico. Making Devs does not control the infrastructure, availability, security measures, or processing practices of these platforms.
Do not use these channels to send passwords, complete banking information, identity documents, sensitive personal data, or confidential information that is not essential. When a request requires greater security, we may ask you to continue by email, video call, or another appropriate channel.
We retain conversations only as long as necessary to assist you, manage the relevant relationship, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You can stop promotional messages by replying “UNSUBSCRIBE”, “STOP”, or emailing info@makingdevs.com. You may also exercise your ARCO rights regarding copies or records retained by Making Devs; requests concerning data controlled directly by Meta must be submitted to that platform.

We may also use your contact details to send news, content, or invitations related to Making Devs. You may object to this use at any time by emailing info@makingdevs.com. Refusing this optional use will not affect the services you request.

This website uses measurement technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand website usage in aggregate. These technologies may store or read identifiers on your device. You can limit cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some features.
Data disclosures and transfers
We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the website, communications, and services. They process data on behalf of Making Devs and under our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by a competent authority or permitted by applicable law.
Using WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger may involve disclosure and processing by Meta and its providers, including in other countries, under the policies applicable to each service.
We do not sell personal data. If a transfer requires your consent under applicable law, we will request it before making the transfer.
