These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the website operated by Making Devs (“Making Devs”). By browsing this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Purpose of the website
The website provides general information about Making Devs and its mentoring, training, consulting, and software development services. Its content is informational and does not by itself constitute a binding offer, professional advice, or a contract.
The features, scope, price, schedule, and other conditions of a service will be established in the applicable proposal, statement of work, or agreement. If there is a conflict, that document will prevail over these terms regarding the contracted service.
Permitted use
You may view and share links to public pages of the website for lawful purposes. When using the website, you agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers, or related systems.
- Introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, or circumvent security measures.
- Extract content through automated means at a scale that affects website availability.
- Misrepresent third-party content, trademarks, or communications as those of Making Devs.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the text, designs, graphics, logos, trademarks, photographs, code, and other website content belong to Making Devs or are used with permission. Accessing the website does not transfer any rights to you.
You may make temporary copies for personal, noncommercial use. Any other reproduction, adaptation, distribution, public communication, or exploitation requires prior written permission from the corresponding rights holder, except as expressly permitted by law.
Third-party links and services
The website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, such as social media, messaging, and analytics platforms. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Making Devs does not control and is not responsible for their availability, security, or content.
Communications through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger
Making Devs may make WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger available as contact channels. By using them, you also agree to the terms and policies of the applicable platform. Sending a message does not guarantee an immediate response, continuous availability, or acceptance of a proposal or engagement.
Messaging conversations are intended for information and follow-up. They do not replace a proposal, statement of work, agreement, invoice, or formal notice when one of those documents is required. A service is contracted only through the acceptance mechanism stated in the applicable proposal or agreement.
When using these channels, you agree to:
- Provide lawful information that you are authorized to share.
- Refrain from sending malicious, illegal, misleading, abusive, or rights-infringing content.
- Refrain from sharing passwords, complete banking information, sensitive data, or unnecessary confidential information.
- Verify that you are communicating with an official Making Devs account before sharing information or making a payment.
Making Devs will never request passwords or authentication codes by message. We may suspend or end conversations involving abuse, fraud, security risks, or violations of these terms. These channels are not intended for emergencies or requests requiring immediate attention.
The processing of information shared through these channels is described in our Privacy Notice. The platforms are operated by Meta and may retain or process data under their own policies, independently of Making Devs.
Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep the content accurate and the website available, but we do not guarantee that it will be free from errors, interruptions, or harmful components. We may change, suspend, or remove content or features without notice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Making Devs will not be liable for indirect damages arising solely from the use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
The processing of personal data associated with the website is described in our Privacy Notice.
Changes
We may update these terms when the website, our services, or applicable law changes. The current version will be posted on this page with its update date. Your use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent authorities in Mexico City, unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise.
